# metalcloud-cli server archive

Archive a server

## Synopsis

Archive a server.

This command moves a server to an archived state, effectively removing it from
active use while preserving its information for historical purposes. Archived
servers are no longer available for deployment but can still be referenced.

Required Arguments:
  server_id              The ID of the server to archive

Examples:
  ## Archive server with ID 123
  metalcloud-cli server archive 123
